Meet Lilypad! This one is bright, happy, and just plain fun. With a mix of big and little blocks scattered across the quilt, Lilypad gives you lots of opportunities to play with color and show off those fabrics you just had to have.
And the name has a pretty fun story behind it too! I was working on this quilt at the Web Fabrics Spring 2026 Retreat while sewing with an amazing group of ladies, and everyone kept asking me what I was going to call it. The problem? I had absolutely no idea!
So, of course, I asked the group. The suggestions started rolling in, and there were so many good ones that a few may have made their way into my notebook for future patterns. But Mary Ellen Horn suggested Lilypad, and this quilt officially had a name!
The cover quilt is shown in the Lap size, but the pattern includes instructions for Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King sizes, so you can make your Lilypad as little or as big as you'd like.
